A quite rare small French Rococo Louis XV fireplace carved in Statuary marble. The serpentine shelf sits on a simple attractively scrolled frieze with central small shell cartouche flanked by shapely moulded inset panels with further matching scrolls at the ends sweeping down the jambs.
