An English Georgian carved statuary marble chimneypiece with Giallo di Sienna yellow marble detail, the carved central tablet shows eight gambolling Amorini in a bucolic setting, flanked by the stop fluted frieze panels and the endblockings prettily carved with billing cooing Doves on spirally carved marble draped plinths in the Roman fashion, supported on fluted pilaster jambs topped with scrolled Ionic capitals. English early 19th century.
