An Italian Polychrome inlaid marble wall fountain in the Neapolitan / Sicilian Baroque manner, with voluted pediment above a rounded corner rectangular basin, supported on a large scrolled pedestal. The inlaid marbles of Sienna,,Verdi Antico , and Tunisian Nero Antico on Carrara white figured marble. The figurative bronze spigot in the form of a Swan seated on the broad Sienna marble panel...see closeup in 3rd image below. Italian 17th century elements rebuilt in the 19th century.
Provenance: Recently removed from the entrance hall of a property in Chelsea.
