A large carved walnut trumeau chimneypiece in the Medieval style of Viollet-le-Duc, the moulded rectangular shelf with rounded corners, above a frieze carved with acanthus, ribbon and rope-twist decoration together with heraldic shields on the corners, the half column jambs with capitals carved with griffins and hunting dogs, with a later hood. Ingrounds not included.
