DAMAGED KEEP ON THE NOW BUT CAN BE SOLD AS IS.
A pair of 20th century composition stone models of the Medici Lions on integral rectangular bases. Both lions in matching prowling stance with one paw raised and resting on a cannon ball. The originals were made in 1789 and are to be found on the steps of the Loggia dei Lanzi in Florence in Italy.
One of two pairs with SNo 12872 now sold.
English, second half of 20th century.
Please note there is some damage to both of the tails visible in the images.
