An understated and deep French Regence arched bolection antique fireplace in Verdi Antico Marble, together with its original decorative brass insert.The moulded shelf is set above a pair of spandrel panels above the arched opening. The whole is supported on a pair of simple recessed jambs above sturdy footblocks. French, late 19th century.

Note the insert opening is 65cms wide and 57cms high.
