An extraordinary & large Art Deco carved oak trumeau chimneypiece in the Renaissance Revival manner. The upward tapering overmantel with descending carved fruit detail either side under the cornice, with carved swag adornment, centeed by a shield, with tapering plinths at either end of the central shelf, over the frieze carved with similar fruit detail, supported on shaped jambs.
