A Louis XVI antique fireplace in Belgian black marble, the simply moulded shelf over a plain frieze flanked by pyramid centred panel endblcokings supported on scrolled and reeded console jambs with stylised large floral fern decoration attractively carved on the front, terminating in lion paw feet. French, mid 19th century. A very near pair to 11077.
