A small cast iron royal crest of the Lion and the Unicorn against the Royal Coat of arms of Great Britain. Probably removed from a large item of machinery or military / naval installation. 19th century.Mottos in French : Dieu et mon Droit...God and My Right...very Kingly in the Charles Ist mode... and Honi Soit Qui Mal y Pense, Evil be to he who evil thinks....Understandable sentiment.
